Miscellaneous
notes about the future
14 September 2003
(I'd been thinking about some of these things for the past month or so. I did
not have a specific time frame in mind. - Glenn)
In the future ...
In the future, they will sell cars without a final finish, so that each buyer
can decorate their own in a unique design. Today's cars will look plain and
"old fashioned" in comparison.
In the future, Iraq will split into three or more countries instead of one.
In the future, gay marriage will be legal, group marriage will follow later
on.
In the future, we will let people grow their own hemp plants and not try to
arrest them.
In the future, there will be fewer people on the planet, at least for awhile.
In the future, there may no longer be a United States, but perhaps it will be
replaced with something better.
20 March 2004: Since the date I wrote the above list, I think my weakest prediction is about Iraq.
