Macintosh versus Windows?

It has often been difficult for enthusiasts of one platform to accurately describe what drives their passion for one computer system over another. And, of course, it's not just a duopoly of Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows out there. UNIX, and its various brethren, as well as a number of other lesser known systems are in use today. So, here are a number of random comparisons, not in any order of quality, fairness, etc. Feel free to send your additions to this page via email if you wish. A Macintosh is like eating a home made chocolate cake made with butter, sugar, and real chocolate, melted down. It's delicious and it fills you up. Windows is like eating a store bought cake made with shortening, corn syrup, and artificial flavors. It's good enough for most people, and you can eat a lot of it without feeling full. But it will never satisfy someone who knows and loves the original kind.
