I've recently been working on publishing new videos on my Energy Stories web site. I'm doing this because I think it's the #1 issue to work on, at least for me, is the health of the planet. This goes beyond the atmospheric greenhouse effect, to include pollution of the oceans, depletion and damage to the soils, and the destruction of habitat for wildlife.
Yes, we must work on compassion for each other as humans, and learn to live in a world of diversity, but if your house burns to the ground, or is wiped away by floods or storms, and your crops are destroyed because there are no pollinators to pollinate the plants, then the fine points of political discussion pale in comparison.
I believe that although action by government, industry, and other organizations is worthwhile, action by individuals, families, neighborhood groups, and so on, are essential as well. That is, we need to throw everything we can at this problem, especially when it comes to conservation of critical resources and learning to live more lightly on the planet in general.
I know a few video segments on my web site might not seem like much, but the point of this is networking. Publish for public viewing and then tell everyone who might be interested to have a look and perhaps take action as a result. I look forward to your comments and thoughts as a result of watching these videos, reading the essays on that and other pages I am hosting.
Thank you for your interest!
